**About the Role**

We are currently looking for an **Event Operations Manager** to join our exciting Experience Melbourne branch

The Manager (Event Operations) is a key leader within the Experience Melbourne Branch, tasked with overseeing a team of Coordinators responsible for facilitating permit approvals for events of all sizes in public open spaces. This role not only manages the approval process for small, medium, and large-scale events but also supports the broader Event Operations Team by continuously refining the operational processes and procedures that are fundamental to permitting events and activations.

- Demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve high performance outcomes with coaching skills to develop team capabilities, team cohesion and the ability to effectively manage conflict and under performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to pro-actively drive change and continual improvement.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders with a broad range of competing expectations.
