Live Line Development and Compliance Officer

**_Job Summary_**:
Assist with the development & implementation of training packages for overhead live transmission line assets to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

**About the role**:
Due to significant growth of our organisation, we have an opportunity for a Live Line Development & Compliance Officer to join our Technical and Network Solutions group.

Reporting to the **Primary Services Support Team Leader**, you will join a dynamic team and be the on-site expert in reviewing, developing and supervising HV Live Line and de-energised Line Work procedures and work instructions.
Working as part of a dedicated Primary Services Support team in our Operations division, you will:

- Develop, supervise and assist in the implementation of training packages
- Audit all work practices on Powerlink transmission line assets to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Provide SME support and advice to the Powerlink Person in Control (PIC) of Electrical Apparatus and provide and supervise assurance activities on the delivery of HV Live Line Work and de-energised work.

**About you**:
In addition to having Queensland Electrical Workers and Contractors Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Linesperson, you will have Cert IV in Training and Assessment.

In addition, you will have:

- Proven high voltage power systems experience particularly overhead live lines and dead transmission lines maintenance.
- Expert in the provision of technical support and advice in the planning and execution of maintenance activities for high voltage transmission lines projects.
- Current unrestricted “C” class Drivers Licence
- Significant planning and maintenance experience in live lines and dead transmission lines
- Ability to provide technical leadership and coaching to staff and contractors in a high voltage transmission lines environment.
