The role of a Compliance and Enforcement Officer is to investigate alleged offences and undertake proactive compliance monitoring and audits in line with the RTA's Compliance and Enforcement Action Plan and Policy. Investigations are to be conducted with procedural fairness and impartiality to provide appropriate fact-based outcomes. The Compliance and Enforcement Officer will be managing a high-volume caseload.
**To be successful you will need**:
The ability to assess and analyse evidence and employ various investigative strategies to thoroughly examine alleged offences and enforce outcomes
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
Experience in compliance and enforcement or regulatory and legislative environments is highly regarded, but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external customers and stakeholders
A positive attitude and passion for delivering quality customer service and outcomes to promote compliance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
