**The role**

We currently have an opportunity for an **Allocator **in the logistics team to join our welcoming and supportive team. As an **Allocator**, you will play a vital role within our business to meet the expectations of our customers by maximising efficiency and utilisation of our fleet of transport vehicles.

This is a** Full time, Permanent**, based in** Silverwater, NSW**

The role operates on a **Monday to Saturday roster.**

As reward for your work, you will receive an attractive hourly rate with the opportunity to work paid overtime.

Previous **Allocator **experience is not mandatory as the successful applicant will receive training in all aspects of the role.

**Responsibilities**
- Use software packages to manage COR, Safety Regulations, rostering and truck movements
- Provide customer service to our concrete plants and external customers
- Allocation of concrete loads ensuring that material is being scheduled and delivered in accordance with COR and safety regulations
- Assist the customer service team as required
- Assist with related administrative duties
- Have a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement values

**What you will need to succeed**
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse customers
- Sound geographical knowledge of metropolitan and surrounding suburbs of Sydney
- Competent when working with computers and various software packages (training provided)
- Desired but not essential - Experience in planning/scheduling within the transport industry
