**JOB SUMMARY**:Structural Steel Fabrication and Installation Company, looking for a motivated Site Leading Hand to join our growing Site Installation Team.

Australian Structural Steel specialises in mild steel fabrication and installation works across the Sydney Metro and surrounding areas. Established in 1995, the Head Office and Workshop location is situated in the Silverwater industrial area (2128). **Role Description and Requirements**

The role is site based, undertaking structural steel installation on various sites in Sydney and surrounding areas. The role title is Leading Hand, with key responsibilities of providing direct assistance to the Site Management Team and subsequently the various site installation personnel and engaged contractors.

The role requires acute knowledge and understanding of site set-ups and required resources needed for site teams to correctly commence and undertake structural steel installations. Some duties include, resource and equipment allocations, delivery of consumables and bolts/chemsets, mark-ups/set-ups based on correct gridlines and RL’s, communication and inspection of site personnel project progression, problem-solving as required/raised, provide clarity of process and best install practices, get on the tools to assist installers, reporting to Senior Management as required.

To be considered for this role you must possess strong problem-solving skills, have the ability to readily diagnose faults and work independently. You will require a Trade Qualification, High Risk Work License (preferred), White Card and a Class C Drivers License (at minimum).

Pay: $47.00 - $51.00 per hour
