Administration Officer

As the Administration Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Executive Correspondence Team by:
- Assisting in the timely progression of Ministerial and Executive correspondence for the Minister for Communities, Housing and Digital Economy and Minister for the Arts; Director-General; Deputy Director-General, Housing and Homelessness Services; General Manager, Service Delivery and General Manager, Strategy, Policy and Programs.
- Using the department's document management system to monitor and progress correspondence in a timely manner and operating a range of office equipment to maintain effective systems and procedures, such as using a computer and word processing and spreadsheet packages.
- Providing general administrative support and undertake administrative research activities and projects as required.
- Working independently and as a team member to develop and maintain good communication, liaison and effective working relationships with individuals internal and external to the department.
- Seeking clarification on work priorities, processes and effectively communicating with team members regarding priorities, including liaising and assisting senior team members.
- Actively contributing to the Executive Correspondence Team's performance through participation in activities as required in line with the skills, abilities and delegations required by the role.
- Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
