**About the Opportunity**

There is an excellent permanent full-time opportunity for a driven, motivated Conference and Events Coordinator to join the events team at the RACV Hobart
The role:
- Professional communication with clients to obtain and understand their event requirements- Comprehensive coordination of group bookings- Creating Event Order documents to be distributed both internally and to clients- Working with internal departments to ensure all your client’s details are accounted for- Obtaining payment, sending deposit reminders and managing your own event accounts- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume venue where you will manage up to 10 events per week
**What we are looking for**:
- A passion for events and a desire to learn and improve on event management skills- A proven track record of exceeding client expectations- Professional customer service etiquette- Naturally tech savvy and efficient with administrative duties- Self-motivated and ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment- Experience in OPERA Sales & Catering is desirable
