At Wrest Point, we host conferences, exhibitions, product launches, gala dinners, cocktail receptions, and special events with passion and enthusiasm. Equipped to cater for a small breakout group wanting to abseil from our rooftop through to a sit-down gala event for 600, we can tailor a Hobart event to suit. Our versatile facilities, prime location and experienced event coordination team are at the ready to help our customers achieve their special Hobart event.

We are currently seeking an experienced Events Consultant to join our friendly and hardworking Conference and Events Coordination Team. As Events Consultant, you will have a strong customer focus, and the ability to build strong relationships with your colleagues and clients. You will be responsible for coordinating tailored events for your customers and work closely with the Operations team to ensure they are executed smoothly. You will be business minded and have the ability to promote Wrest Point’s unique offerings to your current and prospective customers. With your previous experience working in Events Coordination, you will hit the ground running in this role.

- enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can think on your feet
- are highly organised and possess excellent attention to detail
- have the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- are IT savvy and able to quickly learn business systems
