About the Opportunity

There is an excellent permanent full-time opportunity for a driven, motivated Conference and Events Coordinator to join the events team at the RACV Hobart

The role:

  • Professional communication with clients to obtain and understand their event requirements

  • Comprehensive coordination of group bookings

  • Creating Event Order documents to be distributed both internally and to clients

  • Working with internal departments to ensure all your client's details are accounted for

  • Obtaining payment, sending deposit reminders and managing your own event accounts 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume venue where you will manage up to 10 events per week

What we are looking for:

  • A passion for events and a desire to learn and improve on event management skills 

  • A proven track record of exceeding client expectations 

  • Professional customer service etiquette 

  • Naturally tech savvy and efficient with administrative duties 

  • Self-motivated and ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment 

  • Experience in OPERA Sales & Catering is desirable
