**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have an exciting and fast paced opportunity available in our HR department based in Forrestfield. Reporting to the HR manager this position will see you working closely with our leadership team and their employees in a HR/IR support capacity across the business. The successful applicant will be supported by an experienced HR Manager.

**Key responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Assisting the HR Manager with HR/IR matters such performance reviews and management, absenteeism management, discipline, and grievance resolution.
- Assisting Line Managers with reviewing their employees' work progress using an employee appraisal system
- Updating HR policies in line with current legislation and informing Staff and employees about changes.
- Preparation of contracts, discipline / performance letters and coordinating new starter paperwork and system set up.
- Supporting injury management and the return-to-work process.
- Maintaining accurate personnel files/records and data in the Company’s HRMS (UKG & Kronos time keeping systems).

**Keys skills, experience and abilities**:

- A degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-4 years’ proven work experience in human resources.
- Well organised and able to juggle multiple tasks - dynamic, and action-orientated, who meets deadlines.
- Working knowledge of HR systems and software. (UKG)
- The ability to research, analyse, and make logical decisions within a given timeframe.
- Updated knowledge of recruitment strategies and employment legislation.
- Excellent writing ability to present clear and equitable company policies.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levels.
- Possess an enthusiastic and approachable personality.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to earn trust and credibility.
- Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality.
- Work independently and take initiative, but also must be enthusiastic team player.
