**About the role**
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer Assistant
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Technical Support
- Create, Review and Issue of technical documents, spare parts manual and service instructions.
- New product evaluation with focus on spare parts, quality, repair and user functionalities
- Review of existing spare parts in relation to names, substitute part numbers, descriptions, inventory and updating information as required in relevant databases, PIM, Salesforce and D365
- Act on information provided by the engineers and suppliers such as Product Change Notices
- Ensure accurate and updated information received of BOM, Circuit diagrams, exploded view and images of products and parts. Noting different voltages, parts similarity and substitutes.
- Publish and issue of technical documents as required with images representing serviceability, functional use and product breakdowns
- Outline fault and troubleshooting for support teams
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal, external partners including quality, engineering team and 3PL warehouses Globally
- Demonstrate consistent ability to meet and drive higher performance expectations (increased KPIs and SLA’s).
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work to a variable schedule as per Global business requirements.
- Drive actions to continually improve consumer experience with new and innovative ideas and process improvements.
- Maintain awareness of compliance and safety policies for a safe working environment
**We’re Interested in Hearing from People Who Have**:
- At least 1 year of combined experience with electrical product management, technical support
- Meticulous organization skills and ability to work independently and prioritize workloads
- Resourcefulness and ability to establish productive working relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Applications skills.
- Experience with CAD, ERP, eCommerce, and CRM platforms
- Assertive attitude with a willingness to seek out and ask questions.
- Well-developed capabilities in error and problem analysis
