The Ship Inn at Southbank is seeking a casual experienced Duty Manager / Functions coordinator/all-rounder for immediate start. This role will be a combination of working in functions and also working in the restaurant as well.

This is a hands on role for someone with proven experience in hospitality, functions, conferences and events or a combination of these. This role includes but not limited to:

- Waiter/Bar work in the restaurant - hands on role
- Setting up and packing down of functions
- Hands on running of function/conference
- Communicating with management, kitchen staff and clients
- Must be available nights and weekends

This role would suit someone who is looking for a small team and wants to get away from very late night hours that hospitality normally brings. There is a long term role available for the right person who is not afraid to pitch in wherever they are needed.

This is a casual position with plenty of hours for the right person.

- Monday to Friday
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
