**What’s the role on offer?**
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive **Duty Travel Coordinator** to join our Brisbane Operations Control Centre in a permanent full-time role.

In this role, you will manage high volumes of crew, staff, contractor, and passenger travel bookings, ensuring operational efficiency during disruptions while supporting financial and administrative processes. You will also use advanced Excel and multi-platform system skills to reconcile data, analyse On Time Performance (OTP), and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

This position offers opportunities to contribute to departmental projects, cross-train within Allowance Officer functions, and mentor team members, helping drive innovation and efficiency across the OCC.

As the Duty Travel Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate and manage duty travel bookings for employees, contractors, and corporate stakeholders.
- Communicate travel arrangements effectively and handle changes promptly.
- Reconcile travel data and expenses accurately, supporting financial efficiency.
- Respond efficiently to operational events during crew disruptions.
- Support departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with Allowance Officer functions, including reporting, auditing, and data reconciliation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers to secure competitive rates and accommodation options.

We are seeking someone who is highly organised, proactive, and has a strong analytical mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently as well as within a diverse team.
- Experience in high-volume travel bookings and operational coordination.
- Advanced Excel and multi-platform system skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A strong customer focus and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently.
