**A day in the Life of an Associate Director - Operational Risk**
This first-line role is responsible for the execution of business risk and controls across a dedicated division which spans over 30 geographies.
Your day to day will include operational risk identification, event & incident management, business continuity, compliance obligation, performing deep dive reviews, control identification, risk change management, ensuring risk pack content is relevant and the correct risks are being discussed.

**Experience desired to succeed in the role**:
- Minimum 5 years in an Operational risk role relating to internal controls, assurance, compliance within Banking.
- Knowledge of operational risks relating of operations (process/systems design)
- Strong risk knowledge risk controls self-assessment, processes, controls, obligations, and frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with very senior stakeholders, globally.
- Able to build trusted advisory relationships, orgnisation wide.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and challenge respectfully through collaboration.
- Analytical mindset to see large amount of data, identify trends and breakdown complex issues to meaningful, digestible output for senior managers to make decisions.
- Ability to articulate and provide feedback in a constructive manner.
- Highly refined written and verbal communication skills.
