The Associate Director Portfolio & IRRBB is responsible for the efficient execution of interest rate risk management activities that deliver optimal outcomes to the balance sheet and to provide specialist knowledge to support the Group Treasury function within NAB.

**Your key accountabilities will include**:

- Efficiently and proactively manage NAB’s IRRBB exposures as they occur.
- Maintaining sound knowledge of economy & relevant events.
- Providing economic analysis & forecasting service to Treasury management.
- Preparing reports covering key financial and macroeconomic themes impacting Portfolio & IRRBB.
- Developing network of contacts within industry and market counterparties.
- Working closely with broader Treasury functions (Portfolio and IRRBB, Funding, Group Liquidity, Portfolio Performance etc) to ensure optimal enterprise outcomes.

**What you will bring**:

- Experience managing interest rate risk in a banking book environment
- Ability to execute interest rate products in accordance with internal compliance frameworks and regulatory conduct requirements.
- Familiarity with Regulatory environment.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification essential with AFMA Accreditation, CFA or Master of Finance preferred.
- Substantial experience across Treasury and Markets with demonstrated risk management capabilities.
- Deep understanding of macroeconomic environment.
