This 2nd line of defence (LOD) role is part of a team that is responsible for guiding and oversighting the 1LOD, primarily the back office operational, technology and other supporting functions to manage and mitigate fraud risks.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Experience in 2LOD from operational risk, regulatory, advisory or financial crime governance and/or advisory services.
- Solid knowledge and demonstrated skill in the process of providing advice to 1LOD on fraud risks.
- Provide an assessment of risks on customers, products/services, channels, business activities, initiatives and projects.
- Guiding the design and setting of risk tolerance and risk appetite, including the monitoring of those settings.
- Providing policy guidance, definition and interpretation assistance.
- Performing oversight and assurance activities on the design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls.
- Providing guidance and support the 1LOD to understand and resolve issues/events. Oversee the adequacy and sustainability of actions to address issues.
- Provide insights and draft reports and risk papers to Committees, Senior Management and other relevant business stakeholders.
- Monitoring the internal and external environment for emerging issues, threats and typologies.
- Demonstrated experience on building stakeholder relationships to deliver outcomes.

**What you will bring**:

- Minimum 5 years experience in compliance, risk management, preferably within financial services and with a focus on Fraud.
- Sound knowledge of Fraud risks and typologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, influencing and negotiating abilities and time management.
- Ability to think critically and make decisions autonomously.
- Commercial awareness and ability to understand broader business issues.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast moving and demanding environment.
