With wide presence across regional areas in QLD and NSW, a rare opportunity has become available to join our client as a
**Franchise Business Manager** in Brisbane to take on a portfolio of QSR stores to support the Franchise Partners with their brand refresh and exciting future growth plans.

This is a field based position so you will be spending most of your days on the road visiting Franchisees and supporting their businesses. You will be directly accountable for the success of approximately 13 outlets. This role reports directly to a dynamic CEO.

The FBM role is an operational management role that would suit current multi-store managers, area managers and territory managers with at least 2 years’ experience within the fast food or café industry.

**The role**:
As an FBM, not only will you be looking after your region as the first point of call for your franchise partners, but you will also need to understand each individual stores’ local demographics, market nuisances and development areas in order to help those stores improve and succeed.

You will be expected to support your Franchise Partners outside of standard Monday-Friday hours (if/when required).

You will be a lateral thinker that digests data and can come up with a systemised plan and execute the plan with each Franchise Partner to ensure their success.

Your main accountabilities are generally based on the following:

- Providing support to franchisees to improve sales and profitability, identifying opportunities and implementing actions to make positive impacts
- Building and nurturing strong working relationships with Franchise Partners
- Ensuring marketing campaigns are implemented and maximised, results are measured and communicated for ongoing improvement
- Reviewing data to identify opportunity gaps and analysing results to support new opportunities
- Ensure brand standard compliance
- Provide training and development to Franchise Partners and their Team Members
- Working in-store coaching and influencing others by offering solution-based guidance

**You**:
You will have met the following criteria to be successful:

- Be an impeccable communicator
- Have outstanding interpersonal skills to build rapport and genuine relationships
- Ability to support each Franchise Partner to achieve their (your) targets
- Solid financial knowledge around cashflow, business plans and P&L’s
- Ability to build strong relationships working in a collaboratively and respectful way
- Demonstrate an understanding of human resources issues, i.e. recruitment support, employment policies, workplace agreements, and dispute resolution
- Sound working knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Understand P&L in order to analyse the data and support corrective actions when required
- Be available and follow through in supporting your Franchise Partners
- Be a peoples’ person and customer centric
- Ability to travel between stores (car allowance is provided as part of package)
- Must have proven experience in managing multi-stores in fast food, Café or Restaurants
- Be proactive and hold yourself accountable
- Have a collaborative and systematic approach to daily tasks
- Have solid stock management experience
- Venues trade 7 days a week
- Be available on weekends if/when required (over the phone)
- Must have full working rights in Australia
