National Supplier of Poultry Sheds Seeks Experienced Contracts Manager for Immediate Start
**Your new company**
Your new company specialises in delivering high quality structural steel framed buildings for the agricultural industry. They are well known as the market-leaders in this space, both in Queensland and on a national basis. They are now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
**Your new role**
In your new role as Contracts Manager, you will oversee a team of 2-3 Contracts Administrators on projects across Australia. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be required to undertake the following tasks:

- Supervision of 2-3 junior staff members (contracts administrators)
- Manage Subcontractor Engagement, ensuring scope of work for projects is completely covered
- Negotiate with various subcontracts on prices and variations
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, with emphasis on building strong, long-lasting relationships

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Teriary Education in Construction Management or Similar
- Previous Experience as a Contracts Manager. Experienced Contracts Administrators are encouraged to apply
- Previous Experience Working in Agriculture/Construction Highly Advantageous
- Strong Commercial Acumen
- Proficient with MS Suite
