We are recruiting for an award-winning construction company who have been operating for over 50 years within the High end Residential and Commercial space.
We are now currently looking for an experienced contracts manager to join team for the long haul We offer career growth opportunities and working on large scale projects within our sector. You will get the opportunity to work in a great team environment.
**Brief Role Description**
**Salary**: We will be negotiating offers around $200k-$220k + Super
Develop, prepare, and review contracts, subcontractor packages, scopes, and procurement schedules, ensuring they comply with relevant laws and codes
Subcontractor management including compiling subcontractor agreements, scope of works, tender packages, negotiating contract prices and conditions, reviewing contractor quotes and preparing final contract documents.
**Key Responsibilities include**
- Maintaining a concise record of all contract documentation including subcontracts
- Mentoring other CA's
- Overseeing all aspects of operational and financial performance of corporate contract agreements
- Managing all Contracts in an effective and profitable manner
- Lead contractual interactions with suppliers whilst optimising commercial and financial outcomes from existing contracts
- Identifying commercial gaps within the corporate contract portfolio, proposing and leading remediation activities that deliver an optimal outcome
- Leading regular formal supplier performance reviews with key suppliers to ensure performance metrics are being met and penalties applied and managed accordingly.
- Providing advisory services across Corporate Finance and Technology as it relates to sourcing, contract management and supplier performance management, ensuring adherence to guidelines
- Compiling and presenting key reporting to relevant stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining ongoing positive relationships with key suppliers through effective supplier management practices
- Effective management of contract administration processes including change management, trends, claims processes and disputes.
- Ensuring compliance to corporate processes and standards as it relates to contract negotiations and ongoing contract performance.
