We are currently seeking a Procurement/Supply Manager to be responsible for inventory management across the RCT group an managing the purchasing team. The position requires a high level of innovative thinking, the ability to maintain excellent business relationships and strong leadership. Reporting to the Group Supply Chain Manager, you will work collaboratively with RCT’s team to reduce supply bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement, and deliver excellent service.
**Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following**:
- Manage and oversee the purchasing team to ensure key performance areas are being met and assist with their professional development
- Manage inventory across the RCT group
- Review the Manufacturing department's Build (Work Order) demands
- Perform RFQs and sourcing of new and alternative items
- Local sourcing for RCT’s international entities
- Oversee and assist with the Expediting Shortages
- Assist Group Supply Chain Manager with negotiations
- Coordinate the outsourcing of new and on-going Turn-Key product designs
- Assist Group Supply Chain Manager with supply and inventory reporting
To be considered for this position you must have the following attributes:
- Relevant Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Logistics/Procurement and Supply Chain Management
- Demonstrated experience in procurement /shipping both local and internationally within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing/supply/inventory or associated disciplines
- Export/Import, air/sea freight experience.
- Computer literate and skills in the use of ERP (Pronto would be desirable) and MS Office software
