Warehouse Supervisor

**About the job**

Our client, an international supplier of tires to the transport, logistics and resources industries, is in the lookout for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Kewdale.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective logistics and warehousing function. You will lead a small customer focused logistics team and will be responsible for streamlining processes and ensuring the smooth movement of stocks and orders.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Incoming Stock
- Arrange safe unloading of stock from supplier delivery trucks
- Organize and manage safe unloading of shipping containers
- Check delivery documents to stock received and immediately note any discrepancies
- Enter delivery docket / receival into ERP

Outgoing Stock
- In conjunction with the Sales Support Coordinator and Operations Manager, create high level plans of deliveries required on a weekly basis.
- On a daily basis plan the delivery schedule for the day
- Assist the driver to create efficient delivery routes
- Work with service teams and retail bay to deliver the stock they require daily with maximum DIFOT.
- Lead the warehouse team to ensure all outgoing stock is safely and appropriately strapped and wrapped, meeting both FTI and the client’s requirements.
- Ensure sales / transfer delivery dockets are completed and entered into the ERP daily

3PL Stock Management
- Liaise with 3PL providers to ensure adequate storage space is available and work to their specific site processes and safety requirements.
- Communicate well in advance FTI’s requirements for stock movements
- Work with Operations Manager to ensure that 3PL’s are used only for overflow/ excess stock
- Administer the stock movements between the head office and the 3PL sites in the ERP

Warehouse Management
- Maintain the warehouse racking and stillage plan.
- Efficient rotation and handling of stock levels
- Maintain a safe work environment with a high standard of cleanliness
- Procure and manage all warehouse related supplies eg gas bottles, waste management to deliver for each
- Conduct daily routines to ensure a safe work environment eg daily pre start meeting, pre start routines for mobile plant

**You need to have**:

- You have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the supply chain, logistics, and distribution industry or any related field.
- Strong customer service orientation and able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
- You have an MR Drivers Licence and a Forklift License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in using Microsoft 365 product suite (Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams)

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kewdale, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
