We are a global energy developer seeking a CEO for our Melbourne, Australia headquarters. The CEO will oversee the operation of existing renewable energy assets and lead the identification of new acquisitions for the portfolio. The role also involves managing the CAPEX construction of new Solar, Wind, and Hydro power projects across Australia and potentially broader APAC markets.

The CEO will be responsible for the overall executive management and corporate affairs of the Australian business. This includes ensuring compliance with business plans, strategies, laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards. The CEO will manage all strategic, investment, operational, and financial matters for the business in Australia.

Working closely with the global Board, the CEO will develop and implement business strategies to achieve corporate objectives. This includes formulating business plans, policies, and procedures, as well as overseeing the performance of the Australian team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategy Implementation**:

- Define and execute the roadmap for implementing strategies set by the Board of Directors, ensuring alignment with the broader Group strategy.
- Drive the effective implementation of the strategic roadmap across the Australian operations.

**Investment Management**:

- Supervise the overall investment performance of the Australian business.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee asset management, monitoring, reporting, and the integration of new assets into the business.

**Financial Management**:

- Oversee financial management, ensuring compliance with relevant tax treaties and robust financial processes.
- Maintain effective financial management and reporting across the business.

**Business Development**:

- Recommend strategic objectives for business development in Australia and propose specific actions and initiatives.
- Lead the successful implementation of business development initiatives aligned with the wider Power Group’s growth objectives.

**Compliance**:

- Establish and maintain a strong compliance framework for the investment portfolio.
- Ensure adherence to Group policies, regulations, and corporate governance standards.

**Board Affairs**:

- Effectively manage shareholder meetings and board affairs for the Australian business.
- Facilitate communication between the Board of Directors and Executive Management.

**Educational and Experience Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- A university degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.

**Preferred**:

- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a recognized management school or equivalent.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic and growing renewable energy business in Australia with significant responsibility and impact across the APAC region.

Pay: $400,000.00 - $420,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay:
