**The Role**
The Naval Materiel Seaworthiness Assurance Agency (NMSwAA) works across the depth and breadth of Navy Capability from program inception all the way through to retirement. The APS6 Business Intelligence Officer will support the NMSwAA Officer-in-Charge - Information and Analytics in supporting, maintaining and developing NSMwAA’s information analysis capability. They will maintain an up-to-date database of NMSwAA’s materiel assurance data, using our online information management system, and analyse it to identify trends and issues across the entire Naval Enterprise.
They will work independently and will exercise initiative to provide detailed data analysis, technical, professional and policy advice regarding complex work and contribute to strategic planning, program and project management and policy development. As part of this work, they will engage with stakeholders within the team and across the naval enterprise to investigate and report on issues. They will also contribute to maintenance and future development of the information management system, and perform a range of business support functions.
