**About the Company**

Our client in the Managed Services industry is looking for a highly experienced and committed L2 Service Desk Engineer to join a team responsible for providing Service Desk support to their customers.

**About the role**

This key position will be responsible for receiving, prioritising, documenting, taking ownership of and actively resolving end user support requests. In this role you will be given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the continued innovation and success of the company.

You will utilise diagnostic tools and problem solving processes as well as managing and recording workflow in a Service Management tool. A high level of communication proficiency is required, as the position requires both interpersonal skills in-person and remotely to manage client expectations

**About You**
- Experience within a MSP Level 2 Service Desk environment - some field work may be required
- Service ticketing systems experience (preferably ConnectWise)
- Remote monitoring & management systems experience (preferably N-Able)
- Documentation systems experience (preferably ITGlue, Confluence, Sharepoint)
- Infrastructure virtualisation technologies (HYPERV & Vmware)
- Infrastructure hardware (servers, storage, UPS)
- Microsoft Server operating systems (including AD, DHCP, DNS, RAS, RDSH, GPOs)
- Microsoft Exchange server (on prem & Online)
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Services environments
- Microsoft Office environment
- End user devices (desktops, laptops, thin clients)
- Microsoft Public Cloud environments (Azure, Modern Workplace/M365)
- Networking experience (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN connection troubleshooting, DNS, firewalls, NAT rules)
