The Customer & Marketing Data & Analytics team is responsible for empowering Xero to deliver successful digital, customer & marketing outcomes through actionable insights. We enable customer, marketing and product teams with key information to; understand the current trends, customer and scape, inform and motivate customer behaviour and shape customer & marketing strategy.

As Digital Insights & Analytics Lead in the Digital Data & Analytics team, you will be responsible for managing a team of analysts and overseeing the delivery of high quality data analysis and insights frameworks to enable efficient design, execution and analysis of digital marketing campaigns.

**What you'll do**:

- Engage with digital and marketing leaders across the regional teams globally to help build a clear Insights & Analytics vision and roadmap, including but not limited to:

- Designing and executing digital campaigns
- Analysis of digital campaigns
- Dashboarding and visualisation - Metrics, KPIs and OKRs
- Providing answers to Ad Hoc questions from regional digital and marketing teams.
- Lead & provide support, advice and coaching to regional analysts in your team to enable them to develop their career and grow.
- Manage the roadmap and backlog of work for your area, and work with stakeholders to prioritise items for delivery while maintaining a healthy team.
- Continually build a good understanding of the context for a range of customer, marketing, products and data domains
- Present complex analysis to stakeholders, in a simple and compelling way

**What you'll bring with you**:

- Demonstrated experience in data analytics ideally with digital & marketing domain
- Have previous experience leading a team within the data analytics/ marketing/ digital space
- Hold strong leadership and people management skills
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation and analysis
- Proficiency in Google Analytics & Big Query
- Experience in campaign analytics
- Ability to establish measurement and reporting frameworks
- Ability to break down complex data and deliver meaningful, actionable insights to stakeholders in a clear and digestible way
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional reports that tell a compelling story, with clear insights and recommendations that can be used by both non-technical and technical audiences.
- Customer-centric mindset, with proven ability to recommend opportunities that drive greater advocacy
