As Business Manager, you will work in effective partnership with the Principal and Leadership team to drive the school’s strategy, along with the vision and values of the school across multiple functions of the business. You will collaborate with various key stakeholders in a demanding role, managing the schools marketing, financial and human resources.
Responsibilities will include:
- Management of all non-teaching staff including Finance, IT, Grounds & Maintenance, Office Administration and WHS staff;
- Driving the school’s strategic approach to financial leadership including preparation of annual budgets and adhering to all payroll compliance;
- Supporting the schools strategic and master planning projects regarding the future capital needs and all development projects of the school;
- Managing the school’s human resource function such as recruitment, staff employment and engagement, performance management, and change management initiatives.
We are seeking a dynamic leader who is passionate about driving business change. You will have proven ability to collaborate effectively on projects and deliver outcomes to support the ongoing development of the business across all aspects. You will have qualifications in a relevant field with a strong background in Accounting and demonstrated experience in managing a team. You will exercise high levels of planning and organisation, a proven ability to work on multiple competing tasks, and the flexibility to manage urgent tasks as they arise. You will be an excellent verbal and written communicator and be self-managed to drive initiatives autonomously keeping the Principal and leadership team regularly informed.
