**About us**
You’ve probably heard of Coates or seen our orange hire equipment on job sites, roadworks or events around Australia. But we’re more than just scissor lifts, traffic barriers and diggers. We’re a start to finish solutions company operating across five key areas: Equipment Hire; Engineering Solutions; Industrial Solutions; Power & HVAC; and Training.

**About the role**:
This exciting new role is a fantastic opportunity **(based in Penrith)** to learn from and be mentored by our Sales team who are responsible for actively driving revenue through relationship, quoting and order opportunities within a designated region. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. We are looking for an energetic and passionate person who is planned, confident and well presented, with a desire to transition into a field sales role.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
As well as being performance driven and self-motivated, you will ideally have:

- Tertiary or professional Trade qualifications (desired)
- Be highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
- Enjoy and be confident with face-to-face and over the phone customer interactions
- Have a strong internal drive to succeed showing initiative to develop your knowledge
- Good interpersonal skills and the capability to guide our valued customers
- A high level of customer service skill and emotional intelligence
- An appreciation of the importance of good customer relationships
- A “get it done” attitude
