**About Our Client**:
The Manager, Facilities is a key leadership role that supports the Chief Finance Officer to deliver essential services related to the organisation's day-to-day operations.

**In this role you will**:

- Lead a team to manage our facilities, ensuring our infrastructure is well-maintained and meets the needs of the people who use it, while maintaining their safety and security.
- Oversee maintenance and repairs.
- Manage budgets, ensuring sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
- Plan and manage the effective and efficient use of space within our facilities.
- Manage vendors and contractors to perform maintenance and repairs, coordinate projects and manage ongoing services. This includes our Whole of Australian Government property services provider.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. This includes lessors, lessees and licensees.

- Understand the organisation's strategic objectives and align operational activities accordingly.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Respond in a positive and flexible manner to change and uncertainty.
- Establish clear plans and time frames for project implementation.
- Monitor project progress and adjusts plans as required.
- Seek feedback from stakeholders to gauge satisfaction.
- Anticipate and be responsive to internal and external stakeholder needs.
- Guide, mentor and develop team members.
- Operate as an effective representative of the organisation in external and internal forums.
- Take personal responsibility for meeting objectives and proactively progress work to ensure quality outcomes are achieved.
- Communicate confidently, clearly, concisely and persuasively in both written and oral communication.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- The successful applicant must be able to obtain, hold and maintain a security clearance of an appropriate level relevant to this role.
