- The Program:
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a Strategic Industry Partner for the development of the Australian Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise with goals to enhance self-reliance, supply chain resilience, and developing a guided weapons manufacturing capability in Australia. The Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) will oversee the execution of GWEO initiatives.

Lockheed Martin Australia (LMA) is offering an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Engineering Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in supporting the construction of sensitive and high-security facilities, including Sensitive Compartmentalized Facilities,, and ensuring compliance with government approvals and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Review and Scope**: Oversee and manage the design, construction, and operational phases of facilities, ensuring they meet project scope, quality, and safety standards.
- ** Construction Oversight**:Lead and support the construction efforts of sensitive compartmentalised facilities, in accordance with strict government security standards.
- ** Government Approvals**:Ensure that all relevant government approvals and regulatory requirements are met, including compliance with security and safety standards.
- ** Stakeholder Management**: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and government entities to ensure timely delivery of facilities and adherence to specifications.
- ** Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate issues related to construction and facility operations.
- ** Quality Assurance**: Monitor the performance and quality of facilities to ensure they meet the highest standards in security, functionality, and sustainability.

**About you**:
**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience with explosive ordnance facilities, including storage magazines and processing facilities.
- Experience with aviation/airport facilities including aircraft maintenance hangars, aprons and associated airside infrastructure
- Extensive relevant experience with the development of major Defence capital works projects.
- Extensive experience with stakeholder engagement and presentation of design.
- Experience with Defence Capital Works and delivery strategies.
- Significant experience with the leadership of large, interdisciplinary engineering design teams.
- Significant experience in cost estimation to the requirements of the Commonwealth Property Management Framework and environmental assessments and approvals.
