We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced facilities manager to join our team at Ventia. You will be working on a nine-month contract with Skout Solutions, contracting to Ventia.

As a facilities manager, you will have an opportunity to bring a fresh set of eyes to our team, working on a range of contracts including Defence, Land & Housing, NBN and Telco.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Establishing subcontractors (building services) to support new sites nationally.
- Proactively managing subcontractors, including managing their insurances, reviewing and assessing subcontractor suitability and working with them to ensure they meet Ventia property's and robust subcontractor assessment criterion.
- Developing, implementing and monitoring all required maintenance plans for routine works.
- Managing effective communication, negotiation and conflict resolution with subcontracts, clients and onsite staff.

About you:

- A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of WH&S and Facilities Management systems.
- Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
- Experience with maintenance engineering, facilities management and asset maintenance.
