Internal Communications Consultant

Our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Consultant to join our Sydney team. You will work closely with the Group Internal Communications Manager in delivering the Internal Communications strategy and provide input into divisional internal communications and business partnering strategies. This role will see you assist in delivering engaging employee communications and experiences to our people, ensuring our employees are informed and engaged, and in a manner that builds our employee brand and remains in line with our values.

Your responsibilities are but not limited to;
Work closely with the Group Internal Communications Manager to execute the Internal Communications strategy
Develop and manage content and logistics for key internal communications events, both virtual and in-person, including all-employees calls, internal results presentations, guest speakers, and panel discussions
End-to
- end project, logistics and event management of the annual Mirvac Way roadshow
Work closely the Group Internal Communications Manager in strengthening our business partnerships
Identify new communication approaches and channels to amplify business initiatives and announcements and support employee engagement
Provide event management and logistics support to the broader team
Develop and maintain a master shared internal communications calendar to ensure internal events and messages align, are appropriately sequenced, and deployed.
Ensure continuous improvement of internal communications channels
Create and maintain dashboard of internal communications metrics
Measure and evaluate performance of communication channels, campaigns, and events

Your point of difference

Moderate experience in a communications, marketing or human resources role at a large organisation
Previous experience in managing internal communications channels, with experience in delivering innovative multi-channel experiences and activations desirable
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining communications campaigns, working proactively, with a strong focus on employee engagement
Strong written communication skills across a broad range of communication channels and activities
The ability to develop informative and engaging communication materials with an internal audience in mind
High level of self-management, organisational skills and problem-solving skills
Initiative to regularly update communications and liaise with various stakeholders, including at a senior level, to develop effective communications.
Demonstrated ability to manage key relationships, competing projects and deadlines
