St Andrews Christian College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a **Library Assistant**. This is a permanent part-time role that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the vibrant learning environment of our college.
- Assisting with the organisation and maintenance of library resources, including books, periodicals, and digital materials.
- Supporting students and staff in accessing and utilising library resources effectively.
- Managing library circulation activities, including issuing and returning materials, as well as maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting in cataloguing new acquisitions and maintaining the library classification system.
- Collaborating with teaching staff to support curriculum-related resource requirements.
- Contributing to the promotion of reading culture and literacy initiatives within the college community.

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in library cataloguing and classification systems
- Ability to assist students and staff with research and reference enquiries
- Familiarity with library management software
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of library administration procedures
- Knowledge of library preservation and conservation techniques
