With a large, dedicated and skilled team, this company is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager to join their team in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

**Your new role**

As part of a leader in this business, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing leadership and direction to the pick and pack operation whilst ensuring detailed planning, and driving operational efficiencies
- Ensuring compliance is completed daily along with corporate governance and continuous improvement
- Overseeing and implementing measurable productivity whilst maintaining quality standards and agreed targets
- Management of the daily rosters for the warehouse, pre-pack, despatch, and dry goods teams
- Establishing clear production schedules, ensuring agreed volumes are being met
- Promotion and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives through LEAN techniques, focusing on warehousing and administrative processes
- Ensuring production costs are in line with the agreed budget
- Coach, mentor, and build capability of team members
- Safeguarding all HACCP, SQF, and quality standards

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in fresh produce, food, or FMCG environment
- Proven experience in management within this space
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and coach team members in alignment with the core values of the business
- A strong mindset and enthusiasm towards implementing continuous improvement
- Strong working knowledge in SAP and MRP
- Knowledge and experience using LEAN, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement strategies
- The ability to manage a large budget
