**About Us**:
At **National Hope Care Services**, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care that enhances the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. We are seeking a caring and proactive support worker to join our team and provide personalized support for a client who values meaningful interaction, community engagement, and assistance with daily tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Interaction**:

- Engage with the client in meaningful conversations, actively listen, and acknowledge their thoughts and feelings.
- Build a positive relationship with the client by offering encouragement, compliments, and emotional support.
- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Schedule and manage appointments, including healthcare visits and personal commitments.
- Assist with phone calls and other communication needs on behalf of the client.
- **Community Access**:

- Support the client in planning and attending community activities and outings.
- Ensure all outings are safe, enjoyable, and aligned with the client’s preferences.
- **Household Assistance**:

- Assist with household tasks, including light cleaning, meal preparation, and organization.
- Identify and complete tasks proactively to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- **Well-Being Support**:

- Provide emotional support to enhance the client’s mood and well-being.
- Tailor your approach to make the client feel valued and respected at all times.

**About You**:
We are looking for a support worker who:

- Is warm, empathetic, and enjoys engaging in conversations with clients.
- Has strong organizational skills and takes initiative in managing tasks.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Is reliable, attentive, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Has experience with or a strong understanding of community access, household assistance, and administrative support.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support, First Aid, CPR).
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (if required by local regulations).
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (if community access is part of the role).

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.95 - $37.95 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- On call

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
