The purpose of this role is to support capability across the 130+ weeks claims teams and ensure a tailored approach is provided to support the recovery and return to work for injured workers with claims at risk of becoming complex.

This is a **full time, 12 month contract** position, based in the **Melbourne CBD **Office with **flexibility to work from home.**

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work directly with Claims Specialists/Case Managers as part of a team in the delivery of the EML customer experience.
- Encourage proactive and open communication with key stakeholders during decision making process
- Provide regular advice and feedback to Claims Specialists/Case Managers and Team Leaders to improve overall quality of decisions relating to liability/work capacity/ permanent impairment/ weekly payment entitlements and communication through effective training, quality reviews and management of disputes
- Provide technical support and training to ensure best practice for complex claims management - any learnings will be shared across the wider business
- In conjunction with the Group Manager identify, develop, and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures

**ABOUT YOU**
- Strong technical experience within claims management (preferably in the relevant jurisdiction)
- Experience in the Workers Compensation industry managing claims within all or most claims management segments
- High level of resilience and a willingness to hold complex conversations
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
- Effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer
