About the role
We need a numbers, analysis and Excel whiz for this role. This is a brand new position, within a growing team, and really showcases the importance that LXRP places on project performance. Looking at productivity data, analysing it and providing insights to the right people to inform future process changes will be your focus.

**You will also**:

- Identify and report on productivity performance levels, and investigate further any variances
- Look at and report on any lessons learned and key insights to LXRP and the broader alliance
- Review productivity performance declared by our contractor partners on their proposal submissions and productivity data
- Educate the business via training material and presentations on the importance of monitoring performance and analysing data

This is a 3-year fixed term position, paying a salary between $103,920 and $125,735 + superannuation. We are working in a ‘hybrid' capacity, which means some days in the office and some from home. We also welcome any applicants that are interested in working 4 days per week, as this role can be flexible depending on the person (with salary pro-rata to suit).

About you
You could be currently working as an engineer and looking to do something a bit different, with a natural flair for numbers and Excel. You have an understanding of construction and infrastructure, and what performance looks like there. You interrogate performance levels, share learnings and data to ensure that a best practice approach is adopted across the business.
Let's get technical
- It's mentioned above, and we will mention it again here. You should be a whizz at Excel, and be able to crunch data, analyse it and present it back to the business in a digestible format.
- You understand what cost effectiveness and efficiency looks like on a construction project.
- You have a passion, and experience, in delivering innovative data projects.
- You're a people person. This role, whilst data heavy, also has a people engagement component to it so the ability to influence and negotiate is key.
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering is mandatory.

About the team The Planning & Scheduling team are a growing team, created to deliver optimised performance and innovation in construction project management to the business and industry in general.
Brett Long (Construction Performance Specialist) is the person you will report to he has been in the industry for a while coming from a background of Construction, he is well mastered on removing Level Crossings. You won't be bored, and you will learn a lot on the job and through our tailored in-house professional development programs.
