Melbourne, Australia Pacston & Partners Pte. Ltd. Full time

**Responsibilities**:
Pacston & Partners is working with a global immirgration firm on the hunt for writers to produce high-quality documents of STEM contents (science and technology).

This is a 100% remote opportunity. You can work from home and with your own equipment. A laptop with a large screen and internet connection will suffice just perfectly. Writers are assigned a continuous, stable flow of projects every week to focus on. This is a great opportunity for writers who:

- wish to develop their writing career further
- love to read and learn more about science
- have the ability to decipher complicated scientific information
- are tired of seeking temporary projects to bump up their incomes
- are available to work 30 - 40 hours per week

The weekly rate is set from A$700 to A$1,300. Our writers generally produce 10,000 to 14,000 words per week on the assigned documents.

Besides the actual writing part of the job, conducting project-related research is also frequently required.

Having a science-related background is not required for the writers, but it’d be better that you are open to learning new things in the science and technology field and are not afraid to read complicated technical jargons.

We also offer an effective series of paid writing assignments to ease the new writers into the actual workflow and be familiar with the stylistic and field-specific conventions of the documents.

You must have strong writing skills plus strong attention to detail and analytical skills to meet our project requirements.

Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 1 to 3 years of writing experience. School experience (e.g. producing dissertations, research papers, thesis, etc.) is applicable.
- Professional experience in content writing, technical writing and/or academic writing is a huge plus.

How to Apply
Due to screening purposes, all applicants must complete a 3.5-hour-long writing task.
The screening test can be completed here**:** (Position: Writer I/II)
