Technical Writer/Administrator

The Company

Our client, a global leader in child safety and mobility solutions that has protected millions of children worldwide, is seeking a Technical Writer / Administrator to join their growing team.

This newly created role will play a vital part in supporting engineering and product teams by ensuring product specifications, change requests, and process documentation are clear, accurate, and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and update technical documentation for products and processes.
  • Handle change requests and maintain version control.
  • Develop and maintain critical safety product and soft goods specifications.
  • Support low-level design documentation when required.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Help improve documentation workflows across departments.

Your Background/Experience

  • Background in technical writing or similar technical/administrative roles.
  • Experience in regulated industries (engineering, automotive, transport, medical devices, or Tier 1 manufacturing) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools and standards.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
