**Technical Support Officer - Field Services**

**Information and Digital Services (IDS)**

**Location**: Parramatta & Sydney Metro
**Employment Type**: Temporary, full time (up to 12 months), with potential for extension
**Salary**: Clerk Grade 5/6- $ $99,938 - $110,270 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

**Your role**
- As a Technical Support Officer, you will provide Tier 3 support to end users across DCJ’s ICT environment, ensuring timely resolution of issues and mínimal disruption to services. This includes supporting infrastructure, hardware and software, ensuring user access rights, and investigating incidents.
- You will also assist with installation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, helping to restore systems quickly and keep the organisation running smoothly.

**What you’ll do**
- In this role, you will:

- Deliver remote and on-site ICT support to staff in line with SLAs.
- Investigate and resolve system and security issues, escalating as needed.
- Set up and maintain ICT devices and monitor their performance.
- Create and update support documentation to improve service continuity.
- Assist in implementing remedies, preventative measures, and system updates.

**Essential requirements**:

- Willingness to participate in an on-call and/or after-hours roster.
- A current driver’s licence (may be required for travel to Data Centre or on-site support).
