Project Officer position in Toowoomba on a temporary contract for a local government department.

**Your new company**
Hays has partnered with a local government body seeking a Project Officer for a temporary casual fixed term contract.

**Your new role**
- Assist the programs team in the delivery of projects and programs
- Assist with reports on progress of project and provide recommendations
- Assist with maintaining document control systems and document/communications transfers with key stakeholders
- Assist with monthly projects and program reports
- Liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on a range of matters e.g., principles, techniques, and methods.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
- “C” Class Driving Licence
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Civil) or equivalent, or other relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience
- The ability to provide engineering and technical advice in a civil construction environment.
- Organisational and planning skills, managing competing priorities in a busy environment.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advance experience in using spreadsheets
- Ability to use a range of Project Management Tools, systems, and programs.
