**About The Role**

You will be responsible for category profit and contribution through alignment of the range offering with trade partners, customers and market. While striving to deliver a customer centric shopping experience through occasion and solution-based offerings

**Day to day will include, but not limited to**:

- ** Sales & Financial Performance**: Manage sales, GP and Trade Partner support to budget
- ** Product Development**: Deliver new product development against category targets, including development of private branded products
- ** Product Range Management**: Ensure category range planning is reviewed regularly, analyse/plan range change implementation, impacts ensuring that plans are supported through inventory budges, space plans & layouts
- ** Category Strategy**: Develop & implement category strategic plans, driving relevant and appealing offers to support delivery of SCA strategic objectives
- ** Promotions Management**: Plan promotional activities across all channels, maximising sales, units and gross profit
- ** Pricing Management**: Conduct regular competitor reviews & proactively addressing price changes and currency movements, ensuring margins are being achieved

**About You**:

- Category management experience within the automotive industry is essential to be considered for this role
- Experience with trade customers
- Strategic mindset with forward-thinking approach
- Advanced interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective business relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong negotiation abilities
- High-level analytical skills
- Strong computer skills
