**Sydney Showground **is a world-class venue, delivering close to 150 national and international events each year, including music festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, trade shows and the **Sydney Royal Easter Show**, the flagship event of the RAS and the nation's largest annual ticketed event.

**About the Role**

We are currently looking for a Catering and Technical Administration Officer to provide assistance to both Front of House and Back of House operations in our food & beverage department. Whilst this role is primarily administrative, a large component will be event operations based requiring you to provide support to the food and beverage department on event days. This role will be on an events based roster.

In this role you will be responsible for managing technical aspects including point of sale and digital signage operations, Ungerboeck (event management system) data entry and information management and other administrative tasks.

**About you...**

You will lead by example with your commitment, motivation, organization, enthusiasm and initiative. You will work well in high pressure environments, effectively identify priorities, be able to thrive both within a team and autonomously.

You will also have:

- Minimum 2 years administration experience in events
- Minimum 1 year experience in a food or beverage operations
- Experience using Ungerboeck or similar event management system (desirable)
- Superior attention to detail and be process driven
- Ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Support and manage the day to day operations of the catering team
- Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Be willing & available to work weekdays, weekends and late nights
- Have a positive “can do” attitude
- Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia
