**About the Division
Legal and Governance forms part of the Group functions within AMP. The L&G team provides a comprehensive range of support services to all AMP business lines, through the AMP legal teams, Corporate Governance and Superannuation Trustee Office, and the management of outside legal counsel.
The Group Legal - Corporate & Governance team is a senior group of legal, governance and insurance professionals who are responsible for providing legal services to various areas of the AMP Group (People & Culture, Finance, Treasury, M&A, Strategic Sourcing) as well as providing corporate governance services to the boards of AMP Limited and its subsidiaries.
**The opportunity**
The successful applicant will be a member of the Group Legal - Corporate & Governance team reporting to the Senior Company Secretary and supporting the AMP Superannuation business.
The role will collaborate broadly across the Group Corporate & Governance team to maintain a consistent team approach to corporate governance matters and on specific projects as required
**More specifically your responsible will included but not limited to**:
- Providing proactive, professional, accurate, timely and efficient corporate secretarial and administrative support to an allocated portfolio of boards and legal entities
- Scheduling and managing arrangements for board, board committee and other meetings
- Coordinating timely and accurate electronic distribution of board and board committee papers via Diligent Boards.
- Maintaining corporate registers and filing systems in accordance with legal requirements and team practices
- Preparing agendas, runsheets and shell minutes for board and committee meetings
- Providing support to Company Secretaries during board and committee meetings
- Preparing other corporate administrative documentation and responding to business information requests
- Maintaining an electronic company records database, Diligent Entities with up-to-date company information including appointments, resignations and any changes to share structures for companies within the portfolio
**What you will bring to the role**
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably at a senior level and at an ASX Listed company
- Experience working with boards or company secretariats (whether as a board assistant, board administrator or assistant company secretary) or as a legal secretary is desirable
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience working with an electronic board portal such as Diligent Boards and Diligent Entities (or similar electronic company secretarial databases)
- Exceptional priority and time management skills including superior attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain outstanding stakeholder relationships both internally and externally at any level of the organisation
- Excellent communications skills including confidentially
