**The company**
You now have the opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading control systems integrators who specialise in engineering design, installation, system integration, commissioning and service to a diverse range of projects within the Oil & Gas, Industrial, Marine, Datacentres & Telecommunications and Renewable markets.

**The position**
As the Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for the technical and engineering support to grow customer base and complexity of the products and solutions on offer.

To succeed in this role, the Area Sales Manager will be a persuasive technical communicator, able to engage with customers, offer them a unique perspective in relation to the products, and support the ASM in technical discussions with customers.

**Your key skills and competencies will include;**
- A relevant qualification in an Electrical or Engineering field is preferred.
- Working knowledge and experience of the power generation field.
- Familiarity with technical specifications and commercial conditions in tender documents, costing and bid preparation.
- Experience using CRMs such as Sales Force.
- A structured and planned approach to sales.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
