**The Position**

The Chief People Officer is a senior leadership position responsible for the development, implementation, and management of United for Care’s human resources strategies, policies, and practices. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team and be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, while driving employee engagement, talent acquisition, and overall organisational growth.

The role accountability includes:

- Develop and implement comprehensive human resources strategies and initiatives aligned with the United for Care's overall mission, vision, and goals.
- Collaborate with the executive team to create a culture of continuous learning, growth, and development, ensuring employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Oversee talent acquisition and recruitment processes, ensuring the organisation attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
- Develop and manage performance management systems, promoting a high-performance culture that emphasises empowerment, quality, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Lead the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and respected.
- Oversee employee relations and conflict resolution, providing guidance and support to managers and employees as needed.
- Develop and manage the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and equitable.
- Monitor and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Serve as an ambassador for the organisation's culture, values, and principles, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.

**About You**

You will be an accomplished People & Culture Leader who can join a team focused on driving continuous improvement and ways of working to deliver a meaningful and long-lasting impact across the organisation. You will be a real influencer who can be collaborative, courageous, agile and disciplined about delivering outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certification.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with organisational goals.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, including talent management, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Experience in change management and organisational development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related technologies.
