As CS Energy continues to expand, their consistent dedication to safety and the environment remains top priority. They are currently seeking an experienced Environment and Stakeholder Advisor to join their team, contributing to their ongoing commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
**The opportunity**:
Based at their Kogan Creek site (approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Chinchilla Queensland) and reporting into the Environmental Business Partner and forming part of the broader Health and Safety Team, the role will provide governance and ensure compliance to enable efficiencies and overall business success. The role will play a critical part in ensuring the site operates in an environmentally responsible manner. A key focus will be designing and implementing programs to increase environmental performance. While working closely with site leaders and the greater business, the role will develop and maintain genuine quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders while monitoring operations to minimise disruptions.
- Administer and improve the site EMS to maintain certification in line with legislation and ISO standards.
- Record, interpret and maintain data and reporting standards, analyse trends and provide recommendations.
- Manage environmental contractors, land access agreements and always deliver a high quality of service.
This role will operate on a 9-day fortnight in a residentially based capacity, with relocation packaging on offer.
**About you**:
Your previous experience managing an environmental portfolio will be strong and you will have supporting qualifications in a relevant field of science, environmental science or environmental engineering. You will be excited by sharing your knowledge and experience around best practice policies, procedures and frameworks. You will also bring:
- Experience managing an EMS with relevant knowledge of frameworks and legislation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with a keen interest in building genuine relationships and influencing positive outcomes.
- The ability to analyse complex environmental issues, identify and mitigate risks and develop practical solutions.
- Proactive attitude and a willingness to be a team player whilst owning your role.
