This role is primarily based at PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, which is conveniently located adjacent to Melbourne Airport. Featuring newly refurbished 276 guest accommodation rooms, 16 Meeting & Events Conference rooms and the Airo Restaurant & Bar, PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is the perfect landing place.

PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is currently on the look for an experienced, energetic, and supportive Reservations Supervisor to join our friendly Reservations team on a permanent Full-Time (Monday-Friday) basis.

The Role:

  • Report directly to the General Manager with a functional reporting relationship to the Director of Revenue Management, Victoria
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with guests and internal team members/departments
  • Monitor the daily operations of the Reservations Department
  • Review and compile reports (daily and monthly)
  • Establish pick up trends, occupancy history, and market segment development to facilitate accurate forecasting
  • Control rooms inventory including allotments, groups and individual reservations, to deliver maximum RevPAR
  • Oversee two Reservation Agents

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience executing the reservations function for 4 or 5 star properties
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Diploma or higher from a recognised hospitality or tertiary institution
  • Proven track record in leading and developing teams
  • Opera PMS, Opera Reservations, and Siteminder experience (preferred)
