As the **Product Owner** you will join the **FCO Detection Transformation team**, running a large-scale financial crime transformation program aimed at redefining how we detect and prevent financial crime to protect our customers and the communities we serve. This multi-year initiative is designed to develop and integrate cutting-edge technology, analytics, and processes to strengthen our compliance and risk mitigation frameworks and deliver a superior customer experience.

**Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to**:

- Manage stakeholders on behalf of the squad and provide both sides with the transparency and visibility required. This include being responsible for escalating impediments and making decisions that maximise value on behalf of the business and to ensure that the squad is focus on producing work that is valuable.
- Work with Product Managers to develop a long-term Product vision and strategy for financial crime detection capabilities within the transformation program and serve as the voice of the customer.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen to make effective day to day decisions and prioritisation calls to enable the squad to progress the work.
- Work collaboratively with RTE and the squad to deliver backlog and attend all relevant agile ceremonies.
- Communicate and engage with stakeholders outside of the squad, protecting the squad members to enable focus on their work and avoid context-switching.
- Define and monitor key Product Performance metrics to measure product effectiveness, ensuring alignment with risk management and customer obsession objectives.
- Conduct problem resolution, create product collateral and monitor results and feedback.

**We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need**:

- Experience in delivery of Rules and ML/AI Model based Detection Capabilities to comply Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terror Financing requirements in financial services and Banking Industry.
- A passion for driving innovation and creating impactful solutions in the financial crime space.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of data and data driven decisions.
- Previous experience in configuring and customising of various Vendor solutions for AML/CT Risk Compliance (e.g. SAS, Quantexa, Actimise).
- Proven capability in delivering end-to-end Detection solutions from Data Ingestion to Case Management and Reporting.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and analytical skills.
- Experience working with agile ways will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in a leadership role will be highly regarded.
