Located in the heart of Sydney, we provide an exclusive setting where guests enjoy luxury, entertainment, and hospitality. We are seeking an experienced Licensed Club Manager to lead our team, maintain our high standards of service, and manage all aspects of club operations effectively. **Role Overview** As the Licensed Club Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and driving the club's success. The role includes managing staff, overseeing compliance with licensing laws, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a professional, customer-first environment. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Club Operations Management** - Oversee daily club operations, including scheduling, staffing, and service quality. - Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure stock availability. - Monitor and maintain the club’s facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and inviting environment. **2. Staff Leadership & Training** - Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing team, including hostesses, bartenders, and security staff. - Develop staff through ongoing training programs to ensure exceptional service. - Lead by example to uphold professional conduct and customer service standards. **3. Financial Performance** - Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue streams. - Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets. - Manage cash handling procedures, reporting, and payroll processes. **4. Customer Service & Experience** - Ensure all guests receive world-class hospitality and a personalized experience. - Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and promptly. - Foster relationships with VIP guests to promote loyalty and repeat business. **5. Compliance & Safety** - Ensure the club adheres to all legal requirements, including liquor licensing, RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol), and OH&S standards. - Maintain accurate records for licensing, incident reporting, and staff certifications. - Implement and enforce club policies to ensure safety and compliance. **6. Event Management** - Oversee events and promotions, including private bookings and themed nights. - Collaborate with marketing teams to drive engagement and increase club visibility. **Key Requirements** - Current Liquor License and proven knowledge of liquor licensing regulations in NSW. - RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification and strong understanding of compliance requirements. - Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar management role within the hospitality, club, or entertainment industry. - Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills. - Exceptional customer service focus with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. - Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, payroll, and operational costs. - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making skills. - A professional, approachable demeanor with cultural awareness and sensitivity. **Benefits** - Competitive salary with performance-based incentives. - Opportunity to lead Australia’s premier Kyabakura club. - A dynamic, inclusive, and culturally vibrant work environment. - Career development opportunities and access to premium hospitality networks. **Working Arrangements** - Job Types: Full-time, Permanent - Salary: $80,000 per year plus superannuation - 38 hours per week Pay: $80,000.00 per year Schedule: - 8 hour shift Work Authorisation: - Australia (preferred) Work Location: In person
