**What this opportunity involves**:
This is a newly created role following an internal restructure amalgamating all operational responsibilities for Collins Arch to the Building Management Team.
The Facilities Manager will manage the day-to-day activities across the precinct and be the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and contractors.
**Your key focus will be on**:
The role will assist the Senior Engineering and Operations Manager who has responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, occupancy services and helpdesk.
The Facilities Manager role is integral to the overall performance of the on-site
property management team with contribution towards the overall presentation of the property and overviews contracts which have a direct impact on our occupier Partners, their customers, visitors, and contractors. The outputs of this role will assist in creating first and lasting positive impressions through the enhancement of all operational and visual appearance of common and occupied areas.
Working closely with the General Manager, Finance and Operations Team, the Facilities Manager is responsible for:
Ensure all Contractors are engaged under contract and/or purchase orders, ensuring adherence to JLL policies and procedures by all specialist service providers within your remit.
Organisation of miscellaneous minor works related to the presentation of the building.
Identifying the work required to be undertaken; preparing a scope of works, obtaining and assessing quotes / tenders, and awarding contracts.
Ensuring any works are carried out in a timely manner, to a high standard and in accordance with specifications, requesting reports and ensuring matters arising are actioned.
Ensuring the TSR system - Evolution, performs to JLL’s satisfaction and that TSRs are being carried out in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain after hours and emergency contact lists for management and our partners in conjunction with Building Security.
Managing the budget. Monthly contract and purchase order and accrual management of your respective accounts.
Advise the Operations Team of any technical or other issues which may impact on contracts managed by them.
You have proven Facilities management experience, working over multi sites would be preferred and are now looking to further your career
3 years minim of proven experience working in corporate real estate / facilities related fields.
Proficient in the use of the MS Office product suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
An understanding that Facilities management services involves the provision of both reactive maintenance and routine maintenance across the allocated portfolio with 24-hour call out / contact requirement
You are a team player with strong operational, technical, team leadership skills.
Experience in contract management, budget supervision, customer service and stakeholder management
